It was World Series Parade Day for Walker Buehler and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. Thousands of fans showed up to congratulate their favorite team on their eighth World Series title.
Fans were heard cheering loudly, holding up various signs, and even singing 'Happy Birthday' to the late Fernando Valenzuela. However, there were more highlights in this parade.
Buehler channeled his inner party animal and was seen using a beer bong. To top it all off, he did it while wearing the legend Orel Hershiser's jersey.
Watch the clip below:
This was not just your typical Hershiser jersey, either. Buehler was wearing a game-used jersey from the 1988 World Series. This was the same jersey he wore ahead of Game 1 in the World Series this year.
Walker Buehler's future with the Dodgers is uncertain
While Walker Buehler was celebrating the Dodgers' recent World Series victory, his future with the club is uncertain. He is now a free agent, and the chances of him re-signing with the club seem small.
They have a handful of starting pitchers they can use next season, especially with Shohei Ohtani expected to return to the mound. There is a high possibility that Buehler is pitching elsewhere during the 2025 season.
A team like the Atlanta Braves could take a swing at signing the righty. They were one team that were in need of some reliable starting pitching this past season outside of Chris Sale.
Another team that is always looking for a starting pitcher during the offseason is the New York Mets. Buehler could work well in their rotation, and they are coming off a pretty successful season.
Buehler fans will want to pay close attention to which teams are interested in him over the next few months.
