"We dedicated our little one to Him" - Tim Anderson & wife Bria share heartfelt prayer for son inspired by Hannah & Samuel's Bible story

Free agent MLB shortstop Tim Anderson, who previously played for the Chicago White Sox, has been married to Bria Anderson since November 2017. The couple share two daughters, Peyton (eight) and Paxton (four), and a son, Timothy Devon Anderson III, nicknamed Trey. They welcomed Trey in April early this year.

On Sunday, Bria posted a photo with their newborn son in a church, celebrating a significant spiritual event where they dedicated their child to God, drawing inspiration from the Bible verse 1 Samuel 1:27, which reflects Hannah's gratitude and commitment to God after praying for a child.

"For this child we prayed 🤍 1 Samuel 1:27. Like Hannah dedicated Samuel back to God, today we dedicated our little one to Him. Prayed for him. Blessed with him. 🤱🤍," she wrote in her caption.

The reference to "Hannah dedicated Samuel back to God" comes from a story in the Bible, found in 1 Samuel 1:19-28.

In the context of faith, "dedicating a child to God" means offering the child’s life to God’s purposes and committing to raise them according to spiritual values.

Tim Anderson is also the father of Sevn, whom he had outside of marriage with Instagram influencer Dejah Lanee. The name "Sevn" is inspired by Anderson's jersey number, and the child was born on Oct. 7, 2022.

After being on the receiving end of Tim's infidelity, Bria asked her followers to respect the couple's privacy.

"In REAL life, I am a mother and a WIFE and that is about my FAMILY above anything else," she shared in May 2023 on Instagram. "The truth is my husband, and I are working on our marriage, and I am not interested in internet games. I ask everyone to respect my family's privacy."

Tim Anderson also addressed this, confessing he shouldn't have made poor decisions.

"I made a couple of decisions that we probably shouldn't have made along the way," Anderson said on 'The Pivot' podcast. "But I'm open to dealing with them and growing with them. This is what it is. I'm willing to take whatever smoke comes with it and I really want to be honest."

Despite the infidelity, Tim Anderson and Bria have worked things out and are still going strong by the looks of it.
