The fan interference call during Game 4 of the World Series has made all the headlines. LA Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts, who had to face the bizarre incident, has chosen to move on, but the two individuals involved have been the focus of the town.

In the bottom of the first innings, Gleyber Torres' flyball towards the right field stands was intercepted and caught by Betts in front of the stands. As he caught the ball, two fans seated near the fence tried to grab it away from him.

Austin Capobianco tried to open Betts' fist while his friend John Peter tried to push away the eight-time All-Star's right hand. The ball fell out of his hands and the umpires called Torres out.

As per ESPN, the pair of fans were later found hanging out at a local bar where other Yankees fans asked for their autographs and clicked selfies with them. Speaking to insider Jesse Rodgers, Capobianco said his friends had an exact situation planned out previously.

"We always joke about the ball in our area," Capobianco said. "We're not going to go out of our way to attack. If it's in our area, we're going to 'D' up. Someone defends, someone knocks the ball. We talk about it. We're willing to do this."

Baseball fans were furious as the news about Capobianco's glorification did the rounds. They took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their frustration.

"Clown behavior all around," a fan said.
"We’re really glorifying assault now, huh," a fan inquired.
"Poor form, brother. Giving these guys oxygen is wild," another fan wrote.
"He is not in fact “a beaut” Jesse, he is a loser," a fan furiously commented.
"This is not the sort of stuff you guys should be promoting. Be better dude," a fan said to Rodgers.
"Should probably end up in jail for being an idiot," a fan said.

Both Yankees fans set to be granted entry for WS Game 5

Since Austin Capobianco is a season ticket holder, he will be allowed to re-enter the Yankee Stadium for the last game of the postseason in the Bronx. His friend Peter has also been allowed access.

"I know when I'm in the wrong and as soon as I did it, I was like, 'Boys I'm out of here,'" Capobianco told ESPN. "I patrol that wall and they know that."

The incident seemed to have ruffled up the entire LA. They lost their early momentum and 2-0 lead and squared a chance to sweep the Yanks at home. They will have another chance on Wednesday.
