"Welcome home" "Right where you belong" - Bronx Bombers fans elated after Derek Jeter posts photos of his return to Yankee Stadium last weekend

New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter returned to the stadium where he spent all 20 of his big-league seasons. He arrived at Yankee Stadium with Fox Sports for the Yankees and Dodgers matchup last weekend.

He was joined by his former teammate, Alex Rodriguez, who also works with Fox. While their former team took the 11-3 loss, Jeter was still happy to return to where it all started and posted pictures on his social media.

Jeter received a huge ovation when he stepped onto the field. He is one of the most-respected Yankees players ever, helping them win five World Series while being a 14-time All-Star.

Fans were happy to see the legend share those photos on social media. Between that and the way the team has come out firing to start the season, it is all smiles in the Bronx.

"Welcome home cap," one fan posted.
"Right where you belong!" another fan posted.
"We love you, Jeet," posted another.

There are only a few players who stayed their entire career with one team, and you can see just how much Jeter means to this fanbase. There is a reason the club decided to retire his number in 2017.

"Lookin good!" another fan posted.
"I love you," posted another.
"Thanks for the memories," posted another.

Jeter will forever be welcome in the Bronx. He was a superstar both on and off the field and helped the Yanks become such a dominant force.

Working with the Fox broadcast crew, Derek Jeter will be with David Ortiz and Alex Rodriguez, working the postseason games. With the way the Yankees have started the year, it would be shocking if they were to miss the postseason.

The Bronx Bombers hold the best record across the board, sitting at 45-21. The closest team to them comes from the National League side, and that is the Philadelphia Phillies who hold a 47-22 record.

The additions of players like Alex Verdugo, Juan Soto and Marcus Stroman have worked wonders. From offense to pitching, there are not many holes in this lineup.

Do not be surprised if the Yanks continue this dominance all season long. They are a great team and will only get better once Gerrit Cole returns.
