Mike Trout's wife, Jessica, is a devoted Christian and has been seen supporting her religion through her social media. On Friday, she reposted a story in the same regard.
Jessica shared a reel where a social media user is connecting the presence of the rainbow with the beliefs of the Bible. Jessica emphasized the biblical origins of rainbows in contrast to pride symbolism.
"Absoultely NO hate to anyone, just wanted to share in case someone doesn't know what a rainbow actually represents in the Bible," Jessica wrote in her story.
The post that Jessica reshared was from a social media user, Joshua Lutz, where he says:
"This, that belongs to God," the user said while pointing his finger to rainbow. "It has nothing to do with any type of pride. It's God's covenant with the Earth that he shall not destroy it with water."
Mike Trout and Jessica to welcome another member to their family
The Trout household will see another addition to their family as the couple announced the upcoming arrival of another son through their social media posts.
"Baby brother on deck. #comingsummer #trouttribe #thentherewerefour," Trout captioned the post.
Mike Trout met Jessica in a Spanish class during high school and since then the duo has been with each other. After dating for a couple of years, the LA Angels outfielder proposed to his significant other on June 28, 2016. The proposal hired a pilot to skywrite: "Will you marry me Jess?".
"After a few unforgettable days at home and in Boston with our families, I'm so excited to finally be able to call this amazing man my fiancé!" she wrote.
On Dec. 9, 2017, in Allentown, New Jersey, the couple exchanged vows with each other.
Three years later, they welcomed their first son Beckham Aaron Trout, on July 30, 2020. Moreover, their family also has two dogs: a miniature spitz named Juno and a mini Australian Shepherd named Josie.
On the baseball front, Mike Trout underwent knee surgery in late May and is now recovering from it before he returns to the Angels lineup. The recovery is expected to be about six to eight weeks.
