Philadelphia Phillies fans won't need to wait much longer for their beloved team to return to the field, as the club is set to begin its Spring Training on February 25. Philadelphia will open Spring Training against the Detroit Tigers at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.

NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia+ will televise 13 Phillies spring training games. It begins Saturday, February 25 against the New York Yankees and ends on March 25 against the Yankees.

For fans hoping to listen to the games on the radio, they will need to check their local stations to see if their stations will broadcast the games.

After falling to the Houston Astros 4-2 in the World Series, Philadelphia has retooled to make another deep postseason run this upcoming campaign. The team addressed several roster needs, including signing one of the most notable free agents, Trea Turner.

As the offseason winds down, the World Series runner-ups will look to begin their 2023 campaign on the right track. The pitchers and catchers playing in the World Baseball Classic will report to training camp on Monday.

JT Realmuto will be among those players reporting to the camp, as he will represent the United States during the WBC. Position players playing in the WBC need to report by February 16.

All other players not participating in the World Baseball Classic will report to camp from February 16 (pitchers and catchers) and February 20 (position players).

Philadelphia's first two games of Spring Training 2023 will be played in two split squads. One half of the team will be playing against the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Florida, and the other against the New York Yankees in Clearwater, Florida.
