Former San Francisco Giants right fielder and designated hitter Hunter Pence retired from baseball on September 26, 2020.
After his MLB departure, Pence joined NBC Sports Bay Area as an SF Giants Color Analyst. Next, he signed up with MLB Network as a Baseball Analyst. As per the latest reports, Pence is set to join his former team, the Giants, as a coach and mentor.

Pence was picked by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 40th round of the 2002 MLB draft. However, he didn't sign with the organization. Next, Pence was selected by the Houston Astros in the second round of the 2004 MLB draft.
In 2007, Pence made his MLB debut with Astros against the Brewers. Throughout his MLB career, he went on to play with the Houston Astros (2007–2011), Philadelphia Phillies (2011–2012), San Francisco Giants (2012–2018), Texas Rangers (2019) and San Francisco Giants (2020).
The former Giants star helped San Francisco win the World Series in 2012 and 2014.
Hunter Pence was present at Sergio Romo's MLB farewell
Yesterday, Sergio Romo retired from the MLB and took the diamond as a Giant for the last time.
Pence, Romo’s ex-Giants teammate, gave a surprise visit to give Romo a proper and special send-off. Romo was taken aback when Pence emerged from the dugout. Like Romo, the entire crowd was equally surprised and delighted.
