American League MVP for 2022, Aaron Judge is gearing up for his first season as the New York Yankees captain. He is the Yankees' first captain since MLB legend Derek Jeter's retirement in 2014.
Judge married Samantha Bracksieck in December 2021. They went to the same school, Linden High School in Linden, California.
Aaron Judge tops the list as both the tallest (6-foot-7') and the heaviest (282 pounds) currently-active MLB player. In comparison, his wife stands a mere 5-2 tall, shorter than Judge by almost 15 inches.
The couple also attended Fresno University together, where Samantha obtained her master's degree in Kinesiology. She was awarded the Outstanding Master’s Degree Project for her work entitled “Posterior Elbow Angle During the Movement Phase of Throwing in Relation to the Susceptibility of UCL Injury in Major League Baseball Players” by the College of Health and Human Services.

Aaron Judge's 2022 season
The New York Yankees star was the name on everyone's lips last season as he went on to surpass Roger Maris as the player to amass the highest number of home runs in a single MLB season. Judge hit 62 homers, overtaking Maris' tally of 61, set in the 1961 season. He posted a batting average of .311 last season and notched 131 RBIs and 1.111 OPS.
Judge signed a nine-year, $360 million contract with the Yankees on the expiry of his previous contract, thus continuing to don the iconic pinstripes in the near future.
