Although Dodgers fans probably will not get a chance to see Justin Wrobleski this season, the young pitching star has been making some serious moves in the minors. As such, Wrobleski may get to see MLB action sooner than many expected.
Now a member of the Double-A Tulsa Drillers, Wrobleski has been gathering an increasing amount of acclaim each time he takes to the mound. Currently ranked 14 on the Dodgers' overall prospect list, a diverse range of pitches coupled with some MiLB experience makes Justin Wrobleski look very appealing indeed.

"Heck of a defensive play from Justin Wrobleski right here after shattering a bat" - Bruce Kuntz
Originally from Illinois, Wrobleski graduated from high school in Georgia before committing to Clemson University. However, the left-hander's career at Clemson did not last long, as he soon transferred to the State JC of Florida, and later to Oklahoma State. After being selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 36th round of the 2018 Amateur Draft, Wrobleski was drafted by the Dodgers in the 11th round in 2021.
After putting up a 4.20 ERA in his senior year at Oklahoma, Wrobleski began to pitch with the Arizona Dodgers of the Arizona Complex League in 2021. In fifteen starts spread across ten games, Justin Wrobleski went 0-1, pitching to a 1.80 ERA in Single-A.
"Dodger prospect Justin Wrobleski just tossed an immaculate inning, here's all nine pitches" - Josh Thomas
Though he is primarily a fastball pitcher, the young Los Angeles Dodgers prospect has an impressive arsenal of breaking pitches to back up his heater with. In addition to a changeup and slider, Wrobleski touts an impressive curve ball that has the ability to reach the high-80s. He has also gained recognition for his ability to generate no-contact strikeouts.
Justin Wrobleski awaits MLB debut with baited breath
Now 4-2 with a 3.56 ERA in Double-A Tulsa, Wrobleski will be eligible for MLB's Rule 5 Draft if he is not added to the Dodgers' 40-man roster this season. While ascending to the big leagues may be a tall task for the 6-foot-1 Wrobleski, it is not out of the question.
The Dodgers' bullpen boasts one of the best ERA numbers in baseball, but injuries or other uncertainties could give Wrobleski a chance sooner than later. Regardless, the Dodgers know that this pitching stud is an asset to hold on to for as long as they possibly can.
