After welcoming her second daughter with LA Dodgers catcher Will Smith on October 22, Cara has been engaging in post-pregnancy workouts to regain her pre-pregnancy fitness. Given that staying healthy is extremely important for Cara, it helps that, during the MLB offseason, Smith has more time to be at home with their daughters, while Cara can focus on her workouts.
On Tuesday, Cara shared a glimpse into her fitness routine on her Instagram story, featuring a lineup of kettlebells on a gym floor, alongside the caption:
"One of my favorite parts of the day."
Will Smith's wife Cara shares parting message for Gavin Lux and his fiancee
After playing for six years with the LA Dodgers, Gavin Lux was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for Mike Sirota. Regarding this, Will Smith's wife, Cara, shared farewell messages for both Lux and his fiancee, Molly O'Boyle.
She shared a photo on Instagram alongside O'Boyle and wrote that she and her two daughters will miss her.
"Molly Molly Molly... I'm gonna miss the heck out of you and loving on my girls."
Cara posted another photo featuring O'Boyle, herself and her older daughter, Charlotte.
"Forever cheering you all and can't wait for all the fun celebrating you this year," she wrote.
Cara had a few words for Lux as well, as she posted a picture of the infielder with her daughter Charlotte, where they were sharing a fist bump.
"Last one because chars gonna miss giving Gavin Lux knucks anytime they saw each other," she wrote.
As part of the trade, the Dodgers will also get a Competitive Balance Round A draft pick, around No. 37, as ESPN reported on Monday.
The trade came as no surprise, especially after the Dodgers agreed to a three-year, $12.5 million deal with Korean infielder Hyeseong Kim on Friday. Since the Dodgers were flushed with infielders like Mookie Betts, Miguel Rojas and infielder/outfielder Chris Taylor, it was expected that Lux would be moved.
