Dodgers catcher Will Smith and his wife, Cara Martinell Smith, enjoyed an action packed ice hockey (NHL) game between the LA Kings and the Tampa Bay Lightning at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night in Los Angeles, California. The couple enjoyed the game from their personalized suite inside the arena.

The game ended 2-1 in favor of the Kings. Cara Martinell Smith took to social media to share some delightful images from the enthralling NHL game, which included a picture of the World Series trophy, the couple's view from their seats in the suite, and Will Smith rocking a custom LA Kings NHL jersey with his name and Dodgers jersey number on the back.

The couple met for the first time on the campus grounds of the University of Louisville, where Smith was playing collegiate baseball with the Cardinals and Cara was pursuing a degree in teaching. After dating for several years, the couple finally took the next step in their relationship and got engaged in 2019 and then proceeded with exchanging vows in December 2020.

They are proud parents to two girls. Their first daughter, Charlotte Ann Smith, was born on October 15, 2022, and their second child, Layton Elizabeth, was born on October 22, 2024. The happy family of four resides in Southern California, where Will has been playing with the Dodgers since 2019. He signed a ten-year, $140 million contract extension with the Dodgers.

Cara Martinell even took to social media after her husband Will Smith won his second World Series with the Dodgers. The post included some happy family images, including their daughters Charlotte and Layton, after the triumphant Game 5 of the Fall Classic on October 31.

Will Smith's wife, Cara Martinell, turned 31 years old on December 20, 2024. She took to social media to share an endearing image with her daughters and the couple's furry friends, all warm and cozy on the couch with a decorated Christmas tree in the backdrop.

Smith capped off an amazing season with the LAD in 2024, which saw him earn the second All-Star nod of his MLB career after hitting for a .248 BA, 20 HRs, and 75 RBIs.
