Carlos Rodon had a strong 2024 season, finishing the campaign with a 16-9 record, along with a 3.96 ERA and 195 strikeouts. The star pitcher played a key role for the New York Yankees as they lifted the AL East title and won the pennant.
While Rodon was in the thick of the action on the mound or in the dugout, his wife Ashley and his three children, Willow, Bo and Silo were constant pillars of support off the field. On Friday, Ashley Rodon posted a video on her Instagram story, showcasing Silo, who played with a Santa Claus toy that he threw around the house.
"Willow would freak🤣🤣" Ashleyacaptioned.
Carlos and Ashley reportedly began dating in 2014 and tied the knot in Costa Rica in 2018. Apart from being a baseball wife and a full-time mom of three, Ashley also serves as the president of the Carlos Rodon Foundation, a nonprofit that helps families dealing with fertility challenges.
Carlos Rodon's foundation posts message of support to families facing fertility issues
Before the Rodons were blessed with their first child, the couple faced several fertility-related challenges, which was a big reason why they set up the Carlos Rodon Foundation.
On Wednesday, the foundation posted a message of support on Instagram for families going through difficulties conceiving.
"Just a friendly reminder: your story isn’t over yet. You may not see your happy ending right now, but keep going—your miracle is worth the wait," @rodonfoundation captioned.
On the field, though Rodon and the Yankees made it to the World Series for the first time since 2009. However, they were outclassed 4-1 by the LA Dodgers.
For now, Carlos Rodon can take his mind off the diamond and spend plenty of time with his wife and three kids. The focus will be on baseball again in the new year, with spring training usually starting in early February.
