Carlos Rodon and his wife, Ashley Rodon, are preparing for the upcoming inaugural Willow Gala next month. Carlos Rodon Foundation, in collaboration with Ashley's Nest Egg Foundation, strives to help couples facing difficulties in becoming parents.

In her latest post on Monday, Ashley revealed her firstborn daughter, Willow, who was born in 2019, and the inspiration behind their special charitable endeavor.

"Willow is our miracle, our light, and the greatest blessing we could ever imagine. After enduring countless tests, heartbreaks, and moments of doubt, the moment we heard her heartbeat was indescribable. It’s a moment that will forever be etched in our hearts," Ashely wrote in her post.
"Willow’s presence fills our lives with boundless joy and love, reminding us every day of the incredible gift we have been given. She is the reason behind The Willow Grant, and through her, we hope to bring the same joy and blessing to other families on their fertility journey. 💖🌟"

Details of Carlos Rodon Foundation's Willow Gala in September

Carlos Rodon and Ashley's foundation will organize the Willow Gala on Monday, September 30th, from 6–10 pm local time. The event will take place at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor.

"This special evening supports The Willow Grant, a fund founded in honor of our miracle, Willow, to help families facing fertility challenges," the caption of the post read.

The couple experienced difficulties with pregnancy, with them booking an appointment for IVF treatment following a miscarriage. However, Ashley conceived naturally and didn't go down that road but it was enough for the couple to understand the misfortunes of many aspiring parents.

“People deserve to have children,” said Ashley, via the New York Daily News. “The day that I held Willow for the first time was the best day of my life. So anytime somebody can’t do that naturally, and we’re able to use this amazing technology that was developed in the ‘70s and ‘80s to give them that, I think it’s important.”

While exploring fertility options, Ashley and Carlos Rodon found IVF to be the best option, but it was expensive as well. Those parents who meet their criteria, through Willow Grant, received a $10,000 fund. The first donation was made on April 5.
