With the New York Yankees taking Game 4 of the World Series, the odds have shifted again, albeit slightly. The LA Dodgers still have the advantage heading into Wednesday night's outing and the last one in the Bronx, but their margin of error has been cut down.

On Tuesday, the Yanks' offense seemed to have finally shown up as they battled the Dodgers' bullpen and won emphatically 11-4. The scoring started with Anthony Volpe hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the third inning. Austin Wells, with a solo homer, and Gleyber Torres, with a three-run homer, also went yard for the Bombers.

The Yankees will now turn up for Wednesday's clash, looking to become the first team to win Game 5 of the World Series after going 0-3 down. However, the bookies aren't giving them much chance, as the odds still lie heavily in favor of the Dodgers to win the title.

As per Sports Book, Los Angeles has -900 odds of winning another game while the Yankees have +600 odds of getting three more wins. The odds of the Dodgers winning were higher before the start of Game 4, with LA having a -2000 chance of winning compared to New York's +1100.

Both managers confident ahead of crucial Game 5 at the Bronx

Aaron Boone and Dave Roberts had differing statements to make with a similar undertone after the Bombers' victory. The Yankees skipper didn't speak about the strategy of the team on Wednesday, he wanted his players to go out there and enjoy themselves.

“Why not go out tomorrow and have fun?” Boone said.

While Roberts was more focused on how to complete the job and take home the franchise's eighth Fall Classic title. Because of the Yankees' offensive onslaught, the Dodgers skipper was able to rest most of his bullpen arms with only a few relievers taking most of the workload.

“As far as outcomes, to have six guys in your ’pen that are feeling good, rested, I feel good about that,” Roberts said.

While the relievers will play an important part, it might again come down to the two starters. Game 5 will see a repeat of the opening matchup when Gerrit Cole took on Jack Flaherty.
