The Los Angeles Dodgers fans were all riled up after two New York Yankees fans tried interfering with a foul ball that Mookie Betts chased down in deep right field just over the wall where the fans were seated. Gleyber Torres hit one near the foul zone in the bottom of the first inning in Game 4 on Tuesday.

While Betts caught it, two fans in Yankees jerseys seated there tried to get the ball off Mookie's gloves and one even tried to take the entire glove out.

However, the first base umpire ran down to right field and deemed it out, calling it fan interference in favor of the Dodgers.

Netizens on the internet wrote their frustration, calling out the Yankees fans for losing it in the face of a 3-0 series deficit coming into Tuesday night's game.

"Yankee fans being pathetic losers? Shocking, truly," one fan posted.
"That’s awful fan behavior," one fan wrote.
"Why was he grabbing Mookies other wrist like that? Trying to hurt him or something? What the f*ck!" another added.

One Yankee fan acknowledged the act of two of their own and apologized to Dodgers fans out there.

"As a Yankees fan, those two fans need to be arrested and banned for life from the stadium. Apologies to all the Dodger fans and fans in baseball in general. Fans should never touch a player. Ever," one fan commented.
"Yankees fans trying to rip fly balls out of the glove of Mookie Betts. These people are DESPERATE! 🤣" one fan added.
"Yankees fans got more fight than their rat sht players 🔥🔥🔥" one fan had different take to it.

The two Yankees fans who interfered were escorted out of the building by the Yankee Stadium security.

The Yankees, down 3-0 in the best-of-seven series, will need to make a historic comeback if they want to end their 15-year World Series drought.

However, just a few pitches into the game and the Yankees fans had their hopes crushed after Dodgers slugger Freddie Freeman struck a two-run home run in the first inning off Luis Gill to take a 2-0 lead early in the game.

The Yankees responded by scoring a run in the second inning. In the third inning, Anthony Volpe brought smiles to the faces of all Yankees fans by capitalizing on a bases-loaded opportunity to hit a grand slam and give the Yankees a 5-2 lead in the game.

This couldn't have come at a better time, as finally, the fans in the Bronx have something to look forward to. All Yankees pitchers need to do is make sure they don't evaporate the lead like they did in Game 1.
