The New York Yankees should be buyers at the deadline. Despite various holes on the roster, they are still one of the best teams in baseball. They're one game back of first place in their division and four games back of the best record in baseball. However, the modern MLB team often doesn't fall into just "buyer" or "seller" when the deadline rolls around.
