"It Ain't Over" is a documentary about the legendary baseball player and coach Yogi Berra. The documentary explores Berra's life and career, from his childhood in St. Louis to his iconic years with the New York Yankees and his later years as a beloved coach and ambassador of the game.

The documentary originally premiered in June 2022 but is set for a theatrical release on May 12, 2023 as announced by Sony Pictures Classics. It will be released in theaters in New York and Los Angeles and then expand internationally.

The documentary narrates the story of Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra, one of the most beloved figures in baseball history. The film traces Berra's life from his childhood in a working-class neighborhood of St. Louis, where he developed a love for the game of baseball.

Berra was named 'Yogi' after he and his friends watched an Indian movie in which the yogi resembled his appearance. Berra's career in the Major Leagues spanned nearly two decades, during which he became a 15-time All-Star, a three-time MVP, and won ten World Series championships with the New York Yankees.

The documentary is written and directed by Sean Mullin and has a runtime of 98 minutes. The film explores Yogi Berra's impact on the game of baseball and his reputation as a humble, down-to-earth figure who always had a quip or a witty saying ready. The documentary features interviews with former teammates, coaches and players, as well as family members and friends, who share their memories of Berra and the impact he had on their lives.

The film features interviews with a legion of baseball greats, including Derek Jeter, Joe Torre, Mariano Rivera, Willie Randolph, Don Mattingly, Joe Girardi, Tony Kubek, Ron Guidry and Nick Swisher. Interviews with Berra's close friends and family are also included.

Yogi Berra's life story will be introduced to a new generation of baseball fans

Yogi Berra remains a huge name in the world of MLB and baseball as a whole. However, many young people today who are not connected to the sport don't know of the iconic New York Yankees legend.
