Houston Astros slugger Yordan Álvarez and his wife Monica took their kids for a rustic, tech-free outing in Westagte River Ranch and shared some pictures on Instagram. The 27-year-old slugger seems to be enjoying his down time with family during the offseason before he reports for Spring Training in preparation for next season.
The Álvarez family's outing was at the Westgate River Ranch in Florida, where they are having a Winter Wonderland package, which includes several fun activities. In Monica's reel, the family can be seen taking part in activities like roasting marshmellows, paiting their faces, watching the rodeo and interacting with some of the animals in the ranch.
Monica, posted a video collage of their family outing on her Instagram, captioned:
"This and no cell service."
Yordan Álvarez signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an international free agent in 2016 but was traded to the Houston Astros two months later. He made his major league debut with Houston in 2019 and played in the World Series that year. He has since become a mainstay in their lineup, making three All-Star appearances and winning the World Series in 2022.
Like her husband, Monica was born in Cuba, but her family moved to Tampa, Florida when she was a young girl. She married Yordan in 2021, and the couple have two children together - a daughter, Mia, and a son, Jordan.
