It was an impressive, albeit mixed rookie season for Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Japanese phenom looked impressive during his first campaign in the Majors, however, a strained right rotator cuff limited him to only 90 innings of work.

"My heartfelt condolences to those affected by the fires in LA. I pray for the speedy recovery and restoration to all those affected" - Yamamoto wrote on his latest Instagram post.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto is one of several key members of the Los Angeles Dodgers who have made a statement or donated money to those affected, with stars such as Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani doing their part.
