Zach Greinke's wife Emily clicks son Bode as he cooks up a special weekend breakfast

Zach Greinke is a six-time All-Star Major League Baseball pitcher and while he has not officially retired, he might have already thrown the final pitch in his major leagues career. Greinke was not on an MLB roster during the 2024 MLB season and hasn't yet been signed by a team for the upcoming season.

The pitcher married his partner Emily Greinke back in 2009, and the couple have three children together, with son Bode (9) being the oldest in the family. On Saturday, Emily Greinke shared a video of her son Bode on her Instagram story which showed him making breakfast for the family.

In the video that she shared, Bode Greinke was seen making some pancakes on a griddle. Greinke captioned her story:

"I ❤️ Saturday mornings so so much"

Zach Greinke has always been a family man, and he now has much more time to spend with his wife and kids in the twilight of his professional career. In early January, Greinke and his family were able to enjoy a family fashing trip in Auburn, Alabama, and Emily shared photos from that trip on her Instagram.

In the photos and videos, Greinke was seen wearing Kansas City Royals gear, while also helping his sons reel in some fish. Emily Greinke captioned the photographs:

"Family fishing day on the farm was the perfect day! 🎣"

If Zach Greinke is done pitching in Major League Baseball, he can retire to his beautiful family knowing that he gave the game everything he had. Greinke has tallied 225 career wins throughout his MLB career and is known for having a sharp mind on the mound.

It will be interesting to see if any team signs the veteran for the upcoming season, he will certainly be able to provide valuable inputs from his years of experience in the MLB to make his team better.
