Pittsburgh Pirates' designated hitter Andrew McCutchen and his wife, Maria, embraced the holiday spirit with an intimate gathering among close friends. Maria took to social media to share snapshots from the cozy celebration, capturing the couple cherishing the festive moments surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
On Tuesday, Maria McCutchen uploaded ten pictures on Instagram, three of which were with her husband Andrew. Maria donned a red dress, complementing the color of Christmas, while her husband Andrew hosted the guests while sporting a black suit.
"Christmas time in the city," Maria captioned the Instagram post.
In the comments section, Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Zach Wheeler's wife, Dominique, reacted to Maria McCutchen's stunning dress in two words.
"That dress 🙌," Dominique commented under the post.
Andrew and Maria have been married since 2014 after the outfielder publicly proposed to her on the Ellen DeGeneres show in 2013. The couple are the parents of four kids. Their first son, Steel, was born in 2017. After him, they had another son, Armani, and their third child was their first daughter in 2019. In March 2024, they welcomed their second daughter, Italia Maria.
Andrew McCutchen's wife Maria had teased the red dress a day before
In the Instagram post on Monday, Andrew McCutchen's wife, Maria, had already uploaded some pictures of the red dress she flaunted in the following post the next day. Maria posted three pictures where she is sitting on the couch with the backdrop of snow visible outside the window.
With the dress, she also added accessories to embellish her outfit with silver high-heeled shoes and a pearl necklace to match the sparkles on her dress. The sofa had cushions representing Christmas vibes, with gingerbread and snowflakes made on it.
Besides having a great festive season, Andrew has also been making some noise on the baseball front. He made his return to the Pirates for another season for the 12th time in his 17-year-long career with the $5 million, one-year deal. Moreover, he believes that he can be a "difference maker" for the team.
