Nolan James Arenado, also known by his nickname ‘Nado’, is an American professional baseball third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2025 MLB season. He was born on April 16, 1991. He was born in Newport Beach, California. The Colorado Rockies selected Arenado as the 59th overall pick in the 2009 MLB Draft. He made his MLB debut with the Rockies in April 2013.

Before being drafted, he played collegiate baseball at Arizona State University. Nolan had played for two teams, the Rockies and then the St. Louis Cardinals, since the 2021 season. The third baseman has achieved quite a lot of awards in his eleven-year-long MLB career. He is an eight-time All-Star, ten-time Gold Glove award winner, six-time Platinum Glove award winner, and five-time Silver Slugger award winner, as of March 2025.
