Earlier this summer, Vanessa Hudgens and her husband Cole Tucker announced the birth of their first child. Although the pair have opted to keep the identity of the child anonymous, both have shared some glimpses into their parental lives.

In a recent story on her personal Instagram, Hudgens showed off her new hairdo. Captioned with the phrase "Baby hairssss", it is thought that the 34-year-old's receding hairline might be a side effect of postpartum changes.

Known for her role as Gabriella Montez in the hugely popular "High School Musical" movie series, Hudgens rose to fame in the early 2000s. Soon thereafter, she began a relationship with her co-star Zac Efron. The pair began dating in 2005 before ending things in 2010.

In 2011, Hudgens began a long-term relationship with actor Austin Butler before breaking up in 2019.

After her split from Butler, Hudgens began dating Cole Tucker, who was then an infielder in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. In 2023, Hudgens and Tucker announced their engagement, and the couple were wed at a lavish private celebration in Tulum, Mexico last December.

With Tucker, Hudgens has maintained a lower profile than she had in previous relationships. However, in March 2024, she announced that she and Tucker were expecting their first child.

Tucker began the 2024 season under a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners. However, after failing to make a lasting impression during the preseason, the Arizona-born infielder was released on March 18. Less than a month later, Tucker inked a deal with the Los Angeles Angels. In 24 games with the team this year, Tucker hit .180 with 3 RBI.

After her relationships with Efron and Butler, Hudgens was undoubtedly still seeking her soulmate when she met Tucker in a meditation class in 2020. In an interview with Glamour this past summer, Hudgens recounted their fateful meeting:

“I’m such a go-getter. If I want something or someone, I’m going after him, I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ I think there’s no shame in making the first move. If you want it, why wait for someone else to give you what you want?”
