Last season was a solid bounce-back campaign for veteran outfielder Ramon Laureano with the Atlanta Braves after being acquired from the Cleveland Guardians. After emerging as a potential superstar early in his career with the Oakland Athletics, Laureano struggled to consistently produce at the MLB level, falling into more of a platoon role.

Nevertheless, Laureano turned back the clock in 2024, flashing some of the tools that made fans believe in his potential. At only 30 years old, he should still have plenty of time left in his body to continue producing as an impact player. In 2024, Laurano posted a .259 batting average with 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and eight stolen bases.

While he may not be an All-Star level talent, Laureano could be a solid addition for clubs looking to bolster their outfields. His combination of speed and power could make him an asset wherever he lands, even if it is not in an everyday role.

Here's a look at 3 potential landing spots for Ramon Laureano in free agency

#1, Minnesota Twins

The Minnesota Twins could be an intriguing landing spot for Ramon Laureano for a number of reasons. Not only could Laureano be a solid depth addition, but with Max Kepler being an unrestricted free agent and Alex Kirilloff retiring, the Twins have a need for affordable outfielders. Plus, with former All-Star Byron Buxton's injury issues, having a proven veteran on the roster is never a bad thing.

#2, San Francisco Giants

Another club that could look to Ramon Laureano's services is the San Francisco Giants. The Giants are likely going to need to find replacements for free agents Michael Conforto and Mark Canha, and given their desire to lower their payroll, Laureano could likely be signed at a team-friendly rate.

While the Giants have a few young outfielders growing at the MLB level such as Heliot Ramos and Jung Hoo Lee, Laureano could be an ideal veteran to partner alongside their young talent.

#3, Detroit Tigers

The Detroit Tigers may have made it to the postseason in 2024; however, they most accomplished this on the backs of their elite pitching. The Tigers are going to need to improve on offense if they are going to reach the postseason yet again. Enter Ramon Laureano, who could be an ideal, low-cost signing who could either start or play in a depth role with the club.
