Rhett Hamilton Lowder is an American college baseball pitcher plying his trade for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Born March 8, 2002, in North Carolina, Lowder attended North Stanly High School located in New London, North Carolina, where he played baseball.

Rhett had a successful school baseball career, as he was twice named Pitcher of the Year at the high school and conference levels. Rhett went 9–0 with a 0.61 ERA, 115 strikeouts, and seven walks over 68.1 innings as a junior in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic shortened his senior season in 2020 and he was unselected in the shortened 2020 Major League Baseball draft, leading to him enrolling at Wake Forest University to play college baseball.

Rhett was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year in his second season in college, becoming the first-ever player from Wake Forest to win the award.

Riding high on good form and unassailable potential, Rhett enters the 2023 season as a top prospect for the upcoming MLB draft.
