Shohei Ohtani is already on way to his first MLB World Series game in 2024. Hailing from Oshu, Japan, he is a veteran of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and played for the Hokkaido-Nippon Ham Fighters. Notably, this home run broke the record of Mike Trout’s 490-foot home run on October 5, 2022, to become the longest home run hit by a player from the Los Angeles Angels.
