Shohei Ohtani has taken up the role of the two way player for the Los Angele­s Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He also represented the Los Angeles Angels from 2018 to 2023 in the past in the league. Renowned for his e­xceptional skills as both a pitcher and a hitter, Shohei made his debut with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in Japan on March 29, 2013.

Shohei Ohtani arrived in the MLB with the Los Angeles Angels on March 29, 2018. Since then, he has played four MLB All-Star Games as of 2024. He has also acquired several other notable awards in his MLB career over the years. Besides playing in the MLB, Shohei Ohtani is also a member of Team Japan in international games. His team Japan won the 2023 World Baseball Classic by defeating Team USA in the finals, which was led by his former teammate, Mike Trout.
