Shohei Ohtani of Oshu, Japan has become one of the best players in Major League Baseball (MLB) in present times. Nicknamed “Showtime”, he serves as the two-way player for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the league. However, he had also represented the Los Angeles Angels in the past, with whom he made his debut on March 29, 2018 in the league. Previously, he represented the Hokkaido-Nippon Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He won the Japan Series Championship in 2016 with the team.

Shohei Ohtani has already accomplished several accolades since he arrived in MLB. He became the 2024 MLB World Series Champion with the Los Angeles Dodgers, notably his first World Series title in the league. Additionally, he is a four-time MLB All-Star player with three AL All-Star Awards and one NL All-Star Award. He also won the World Baseball Classic in 2023 with Team Japan, proving his excellent playing skills on the international stage.
