Hitting a home run is arguably the name of the game for offensive MLB players. When they go up to the plate, the best thing they can do is hit it out of the park. Not everyone can or does, which is why it's such an effective and popular prop bet. Every day, there are odds on each player to hit one. Here are today's best bets.
MLB best home run prop bets July 11
5) Spencer Steer +310
Spencer Steer isn't doing a ton of hitting for the Cincinnati Reds with his .239 batting average. He is, however, hitting home runs when he does. His OPS is above average and he has 14 home runs. He could add to that tally today as well.
4) Rafael Devers +300
Rafael Devers has three home runs in the last seven days, upping his season total to 21. That's ninth in MLB. The Boston Red Sox star is in good form and can hit home runs with the best of them, so he's a good pick to go deep today.
3) Marcell Ozuna +275
Marcell Ozuna blasted his 24th home run yesterday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Atlanta Braves DH is fourth in baseball with that total and is clearly in good form, so he's a pretty safe bet to hit his 25th or more tonight.
2) Cal Raleigh +200
If Cal Raleigh is hitting the baseball, it's likely leaving the yard. The Seattle Mariners slugger is hitting .208, a dismal average. But, he has 17 home runs, good for 20th in baseball. He's a good bet to add to his tally with another one today.
1) Bryce Harper +185
Bryce Harper is today's best bet to hit a home run. After missing the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a bruised hand yesterday, he should be back in the lineup. He has 20 home runs so far, so he's been a prolific home-run hitter this season.
