On any given day in the MLB, quite a few home runs will be hit. Take yesterday for an example, as the New York Yankees blasted six by themselves. Today, there will be a lot, and many sports bettors want to predict which players will be the ones to hit them. With that in mind, here are the best bets to hit a home run on July 30.
Best MLB home run prop bets
#5) Jake Burger: +425
Jake Burger hasn't hit very much at all for the Miami Marlins this year with a .680 OPS and a .233 average. However, he does have 13 home runs, so when he does hit, it often leaves the park. Facing Jeffrey Springs in his season debut could yield some success so he is a candidate today.
#4) Pete Alonso: +380
Pete Alonso has been one of the most prolific home run hitters in baseball since he entered the league. The New York Mets star has 22 of them this season as well, so he's a good bet to take David Festa and his 8.16 ERA.
#3) Ketel Marte: +360
Ketel Marte has hit well all season long. The Arizona Diamondbacks star has 24 home runs, the ninth most in baseball this year. He has four in the last seven days and had one in the most recent game, so he's on fire right now.
#2) Corey Seager: +250
Even in a bit of a down year, Corey Seager has 19 home runs at this point. The Texas Rangers star gets to face right-hander Lance Lynn, who has historically had a problem giving up home runs. He could easily add to his tally on July 30.
#1) Shohei Ohtani: +185
Shohei Ohtani leads all players not named Aaron Judge in the home run category, so he's a really good bet to hit one on any given day. He has 32 of them so far for the Los Angeles Dodgers and with a matchup with Michael Waldron on deck, he could get a hold of one more.
