On Wednesday, Aaron Judge became the quickest MLB player to reach 300 home runs. The New York Yankees star smashed his 43rd home run of the season in the eighth inninh against Chad Kuhl who first intentionally walked Juan Soto.
The 300th home run for the Judge came in his 955th game. The pace at which he reached this milestone is one to marvel at since he broke the previous record that was attained in 1,087 games.

#6. Giancarlo Stanton - 1,119 games
Fellow teammate of Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, reached 300 home runs in August 2018 in his 1,119th game, after he homered off Francisco Liriano at Yankee Stadium.
The 34-year-old power hitter has so far struck 422 home runs, and has notched 20 already this season in just 80 games.
#5. Alex Rodriguez - 1,117 games
Former World Series champion Alex Rodriguez reached his 300 home runs milestone in his 1,117th game in the 2003 season. At the time, he became the youngest player to reach the milestone.
Rodriguez was a 14-time All-Star, a three time AL MVP and five times AL home run leader. He struck 696 home runs in his career.
#4. Juan Gonzalez - 1,096 games
Texas Rangers Hall of Famer Juan Gonzalez reached the milestone of 300 home runs when he was just 28 years, 334 days, becoming ninth youngest all-time to reach the milestone. He ended his career in May 2005, finishing off his MLB career with 434 home runs.
Gonzalez was a three time All-Star, two time AL MVP and was a home run leader in two of his 16 season played in the majors.
#3. Ryan Howard - 1,093 games
Former World Series champion Ryan Howard crushed his 300th home run in September 2012. Also nicknamed the "Big Piece," he played his entire career (2004-16) with the Philadelphia Phillies, winning the Fall Classic title with them in 2008 on top of three All-Star selections, an NL MVP, NL Rookie of the Year and two-time home run leader.
He ended his home run tally on 382.
#2. Ralph Kiner - 1,087 games
Before Aaron Judge's two run homer on Wednesday night againsty the Chicago White Sox, Ralph Kiner held the record for the quickest MLB player to reach 300 home runs. He finished his Hall of Fame career with 369 home runs.
He served America during World War II, and could only play 12 seasons in the majors, most notably with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He earned six All-Star selections, was a seven-time NL home run leader and is now a member of Pirates and the Mets Hall of Fame.
#1. Aaron Judge - 995 games
The Yankees captain smashed his 300th home run on Wednesday, breaking the longstanding record of Ralph Kiner after reaching the milestone in just 995 games. That's 132 fewer games than Kiner, which is almost a modern day average of a full season.
He is just 32 years old and easily has four to five years of prime left, which means a breach of the 400 home run mark is possible.
