The season hasn't started the way the Toronto Blue Jays had hoped. Sunday's 9-4 loss against the St. Louis Cardinals has them with a record of 1-2, losing the three-game series.The Blue Jays couldn't keep the Cardinals' bats quiet. Nolan Gorman, Brendan Donavon, and Alec Burleson all homered for St. Louis as Chris Bassitt struggled on the mound for Toronto. They cannot afford to drop games and expect to make the postseason this year. Not with how some of these other teams look on paper.The offense should pick up in their series against the Royals.
