Travis Bazzana is an Australian infielder currently playing college baseball for the Oregon State Beavers. Born on August 28, 2002, he stands at 6 feet tall and is renowned for his powerful hitting ability and impressive throwing arm. Bazzana attended Turramurra High School in Sydney, Australia, where he initially pursued cricket but later transitioned to baseball.

He gained international experience by representing Team Australia in the U18 Baseball World Cup in 2019, contributing significantly with six hits and four RBIs as Australia achieved a 4-5 record, including a notable victory over Japan. His journey to pursue baseball in the United States began with playing for the Corvallis Knights in the West Coast League in 2021. His performances caught the attention of Oregon State University (OSU), where he has since garnered recognition and established himself as a promising prospect for professional baseball.

During the summer of 2024, Bazzana showcased his skills with the Falmouth Commodores in the prestigious Cape Cod League, further enhancing his reputation. He was honoured as the Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2024, solidifying his status as one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2024 MLB draft.

Travis Bazzana began his college baseball career when he moved from Australia to the United States and enrolled at Oregon State University in 2022. His talent quickly garnered attention.

As a freshman at OSU in 2022, Bazzana posted a .306/.425/.478 batting line, hitting six home runs and driving in 44 runs across 245 at-bats in 63 games. His stellar performance earned him numerous accolades, including Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American, Perfect Game First-Team Freshman All-American, NCBWA Freshman All-American, All-Pac-12 First Team, and Pac-12 All-Defensive Team honours.

In his sophomore year in 2023, Bazzana continued to excel, achieving a .374/.500/.622 slash line with 11 home runs, 55 RBIs, and a school-record 36 stolen bases over 238 at-bats in 61 games. His achievements that year included Collegiate Baseball Second-Team All-American, ABCA Second-Team All-American, NCBWA Third-Team All-American, Academic All-America Third Team, Academic All-District, Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament Team, and All-Pac-12 First Team honours. Bazzana is majoring in psychology while making his mark on the baseball field.
