Triston Ray Casas is a professional baseball player who plays for the Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball (MLB). He hails from Miami, Florida and attended American Heritage High School in Plantation. In the 2018 MLB Draft, Casas was picked by the Boston Red Sox in the first round and became the 26th overall pick. He made his MLB debut on September 4, 2022. At an international level, Casas played for the United States National team. He was named the MVP during the 2017 U-18 Baseball World Cup. Casas was also named to the final roster competing in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. In those Olympics, he was notable against the Dominican Republic, South Korea and Japan.
