Walker Anthony Buehler of Lexington, Kentucky, United States, has been a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball (MLB) for seven years as of 2024. He was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 14th round of the 2012 MLB draft but he declined it and chose to play college baseball at Vanderbilt University for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He eventually won the 2014 NCAA Division I College World Series title with his team.

This was Walker Buehler’s first injury in the MLB. HE was drilled on the right side of his chest due to a 108 mph hit from Trevor Story on May 21, 2018, as per the MLB official site. His X-ray tests initially proved to be negative and he continued to play with his team. However, he was feeling the pain and his right rib microfracture was discovered later in an MRI. As a result, he was placed on the 10-day disabled list on June 12, 2018, and was reactivated on June 28, 2018. Unfortunately, he was again placed on the 10-day disabled list on June 29, 2018, due to his suffering from right rib soreness. Elbow Injury
