Olivia Dunne is not your average college athlete. In addition to being a highly esteemed gymnast for LSU, the 21 year-old is also one of the biggest social media names in the USA.
Recently, Dunne appeared at the studios of New York Post Sports to show off some of her personal preferences. In a segment entitled "Into It or Dunne With It", the gymnast showcased her likes and dislikes, with subjects ranging from Instagram carousel stories to celebrities at the US Tennis Open.
Olivia Dunne was also questionned on "Brat Summer", a carefree fashion trend inspired by Charli XCX's album “Brat”. Though the fad has gained significant popularity, Dunne admitted that she was not aware of it. Moreover, Dunne revealed that she was "Into" the Sophia La Corte and Halley Kate drama, a feud involving two fellow TikTok stars.
During the COVID lockdowns of early 2020, Dunne began posting videos of her gymnastics routines on Instagram and TikTok. Within a short period of time, her popularity exploded, and she now boasts millions of followers across her various social mediums.
Last summer, Dunne also announced her relationship with pitching prospect Paul Skenes. After having made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in May, Skenes is now considered to be a frontrunner for the NL Rookie of the Year Award.

A native of New Jersey, Olivia Dunne benefitted hugely from a 2021 NCAA rule change allowing amateur athletes to draw income from their name, image and likeness (NIL). Since then, Dunne has become extremely wealthy, and has been known to receive payments of tens of thousands of dollars for making single social media posts.

As one of the subjects of an Amazon Prime documentary called "Money Game", which seeks to examine the lives of popular NCAA athletes, Dunne's popularity is only growing more. In a recent appearance on USA Today, the 21 year-old divulged how Skenes took part in the production, saying:
'He was actually in Baton Rouge during the fall, he's featured in the docuseries, he had a lot of fun filming it with me. He's excited to watch the finished product.'
With still one year to go in LSU, there is no telling the heights that Dunne, and her boyfriend Paul Skenes, have yet to reach.
