MLB star Jose Canseco's daughter, Josie Canseco, dated YouTuber Logan Paul for a brief period of time in 2020. Josie soon split up with Logan for good and stated that they lacked common ground.

As reported by the New York Post in 2021 of her breakup with Logan, Josie said:

“So, me and Logan split a little bit ago. … We just didn’t necessarily see a future with what we had there at the time, granted we’re fine now. We just went through some s–t. We’re finding out a respectable place. Also he has a lot going on with his fight coming up. He has training camp, I’m just trying to be supportive and be what he needs in a partner and I think vice versa.”

A fervent Canseco even advised Logan Paul to contact his manager right away to set up a fight. Canseco even said that no headwear was to be allowed during the fight.

"Okay since you like smashing Canseco Logan get ahold of my agent Mike Maguire let's get this done" - Jose Canseco

Canseco made another big claim, asking Floyd Mayweather Jr. to personally prepare him for the fight.

Canseco made a name for himself as one of the best power hitters in the game while playing with the Oakland Athletics. He was a six-time All-Star and won the Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player awards in 1986 and 1988, respectively. Canseco won the World Series twice, once with the New York Yankees and once with the Oakland A's.
