The Los Angeles Dodgers entered the 2024 campaign with World Series expectations and so far, they have lived up to the hype surrounding them. Thanks to elite performances from the likes of Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles find themselves atop the National League West with a 41-26 record.
Even though the Los Angeles Dodgers have emerged as one of the top teams in the National League, it has not been smooth sailing the entire season so far. The team has had to overcome a number of notable injuries, as well as players underperforming to reach this point of the season.
Here's a look at which Dodgers players' stocks have risen this season
Teoscar Hernandez
It remains to be seen why other MLB teams were unwilling (or unable) to sign Teoscar Hernandez to a long-term deal this offseason. Instead, Hernandez opted to sign a one-year, $23,000,000 contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The deal has paid off for both parties as Hernandez has been an essential piece of the team's lineup.
"Teoscar Hernández is TAKING OVER this series. He's hit 2 homers and driven in 6 runs tonight" - @MLB
Andy Pages
Andy Pages may not have been a name that many fans knew before the start of the season but he has quickly established himself in Los Angeles' outfield. The 23-year-old has been impressive in his first stint in the majors. Heading into Tuesday's action, Pages owns a solid .260 batting average with six home runs and 19 RBIs through 47 games this season.
Gavin Stone
Gavin Stone has emerged as a legitimate starting pitcher for Los Angeles this season. The 25-year-old currently owns a 7-2 record with a 2.93 ERA and 53 strikeouts. Stone's emergence has been important for the club given the number of starting pitchers injured they have been dealing with so far this year.

James Outman
2024 has been a disaster for James Outman. After entering the new campaign with an opportunity to establish himself as a part of one of the MLB's top lineups, the young outfielder failed to cash in. After posting a .174 batting average, Outman found himself optioned to Triple-A.

Chris Taylor
Another player who has struggled mightily this season is Chris Taylor. The utilityman has proven himself to be an effective weapon for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but he has been dreadful at the plate this season. As of Tuesday, Taylor has posted a paltry .102 batting average and is at risk of finding himself removed from the roster if he cannot turn things around.
