Hailing from Florence, South Carolina, United States, Whitley David Merrifield has started a new chapter of his MLB career with the Atlanta Braves. He was the #269th overall draft pick by the Kansas City Royals in the 2010 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut for the team as a left fielder on May 18, 2016.
