Prior to the 2023 MLB season, there were rumors of the New York Mets getting their Nike City Connect jerseys for the campaign.

However, it's been confirmed that the Mets are not among the six MLB franchises that will get their City Connect jerseys this year. Reports claim that the team is expected to get their City Connect jerseys for the 2024 season.

The official announcement for the release is yet to be announced. As per reports, the Mets' alternative Nike uniform will be black.

The Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates were among the teams who were listed to get City Connect jerseys in 2023.

So far, the Braves, Rangers, Reds and Mariners have made their on-field debut with their Nike City Connect jerseys this season.

Here's a look at when each of the remaining teams will make their on-field debuts with the Nike jersey:

• Pittsburgh Pirates: June 27
