Xander Bogaerts is a professional baseball shortstop for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball. He was born on October 1, 1992 in San Nicolaas, Aruba. He formerly played for the Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball. He started at shortstop for the Red Sox in 2014 season and stayed with them until 2022.
Bogaerts also represented the Dutch baseball team in the 2011 World Baseball World Cup, which the team won.
