Zachary Peter Gallen is an American professional baseball pitcher. He is currently signed to the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB). Born August 3, 1995, in Somerdale, New Jersey, U.S., to parents Jim and Stacy Gallen. He attended Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. Gallen enrolled in the Tri-state Arsenal Baseball Academy in New Jersey at the age of 11 to hone his skills as a pitcher and second baseman. He would go on to play college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels for three seasons.

Gallen was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the third round of the 2016 MLB draft. He was subsequently traded to the Miami Marlins in 2017 and made his MLB debut with them in 2019. He was then traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the middle of the 2019 season. He further agreed to a one-year, $5.6 million contract with them on January 13, 2023, to avoid salary arbitration.

Gallen was named to his first All-Star Game in 2023, starting as a pitcher for the National League.
