He was named TABC All-Regional, All-State as well as TABC All-Star and district MVP after leading his team to the postseason as a senior. Caruso played college basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies, averaging 8.0 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game He finished as the college’s all-time leader in assists (649) and steals (276) over four seasons. After going undrafted in 2016, Caruso joined the Philadelphia 76ers for the NBA 2016 Summer League.
