Atlanta Hawks vs Milwaukee Bucks preview
The Hawks reached the semifinal after upsetting the New York Knicks 108-100 at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. In the dying moments of the game, Trae Young got into Vegas mood by rolling a couple of imaginary dice on the Knicks logo.
The Knicks led the game at the half but a 34-18 third quarter gave Atlanta the momentum. Trae Young (22 points and 11 assists) and Jalen Johnson (21 points and 15 rebounds) led the Hawks to victory.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, got to the semi-final after defeating the Orlando Magic 114-109 on Tuesday. Antetokounmpo had a solid game with 37 points, while Damian Lillard contributed 28 points and nine assists. Despite a slow start to the season, the Bucks continued to prosper in the NBA Cup and will now try to make it to the final.
Atlanta Hawks vs Milwaukee Bucks betting props
Trae Young’s point total is set at 21.5, which is just over his season average of 21.0 points. He has scored 22 points or more in just two of his last five games. However, it is worth taking the risk and going over on this bet.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s points total is set at 32.5. While the Greek Freak leads the league in scoring with 32.7 points, he will be Atlanta’s main defensive assignment and should be held to under 32.5 points. Going under on this bet is advisable
Atlanta Hawks vs Milwaukee Bucks prediction
The oddsmakers slightly favor Milwaukee to get a win. We, however, predict an upset. Trae Young excels in such situations and we are predicting a similar performance on Saturday. This could be a low-scoring game with the total staying under 228 points.
