
Born on August 25, 1994, in Columbus, Ohio, Caris LeVert plays for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA as of March 2025. LeVert was selected as the 20th overall pick by the Indiana Pacers in the 2016 NBA Draft, and he was then traded to the Brooklyn Nets. After playing four seasons with the Brooklyn Nets, LeVert was traded to the Indiana Pacers who then again traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeVert played for the Cavs for three seasons and averaged 12.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. In the 2023-24 season, Caris LeVert averaged 14.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.
Before joining the NBA, LeVert went to the University of Michigan, where he played from 2012 - 2016. LeVert averaged 10.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in his college career. In the senior season, LeVert was named an All-Big Ten preseason selection, for the second straight year.
