Daniss Jenkins is an American professional basketball player who plays the Point Guard position for the Motor City Cruise in the NBA G-League. He was born in Dallas, Texas and stands at 6 feet and 3 inches tall. He attended Hillcrest High School in Dallas and was also selected as the District 12-4A offensive MVP by the Dallas Morning News. He then decided to attend the University of the Pacific from 2019 to 2021, following which he transferred to Odessa College and remained there from 2021 to 2022. He finally ended his collegiate career at St. John’s University in 2024. He averaged 12.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, as per Sports Reference.

He declared for the 2024 NBA Draft but was not selected by any team. He then signed a Two-Way contract with the Detroit Pistons and was subsequently sent to the Motor City Cruise, the affiliate team of the Detroit Pistons, in the NBA G-League. He averaged 16.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game in the 2024-25 NBA G-League season according to the official NBA G-League page, as of January 2025.
