
Dillon Brooks is a professional Canadian basketball forward for the Houston Rockets in the 2025 NBA season. The Rockets drafted Brooks with the 45th pick in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft. Although he was drafted by the Houston Rockets, he was traded on draft night to the Memphis Grizzlies. Brooks played six seasons for the Memphis-based franchise before being released by the franchise. He signed with the Rockets in the 2023-24 season and has since been an integral part of the team.
Brooks is known for his gritty gameplay and great defensive skills. The Canadian forward was recognized as the best Defensive Player in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, where his defensive prowess helped Canada snag the bronze medal match by ruling out the USA in the third-place match.
