Kristaps Porzingis is a Latvian basketball player signed with the Boston Celtics in the NBA as of March 2025. Porzingis’ professional career started in Europe with the Spanish club Sevilla, where he won the EuroCup Basketball Rising Star award in 2015. This led the New York Knicks to draft him in the 2015 NBA draft with the fourth overall pick. The 7 foot 3 inches power forward/center blocked 903 shots and grabbed 3,854 in his career as of March 27, 2025. His unique combination of talents earned him nicknames like "Porzingod'' and “Unicorn”.

In June 2023, Porzingis signed with the Boston Celtics and won his first-ever NBA ring in 2024 as of March 2025. He was named the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2016.
