Aaron Judge #99 of the New York Yankees smiles as he rounds the bases after hitting his 62nd home run of the season against the Texas Rangers during the first inning in game two of a double header at Globe Life Field on October 4, 2022 in Arlington, Texas. Judge has now set the American League record for home runs in a single season.

Aaron Judge shared his dislike for the cartoon character Daffy Duck in an on-field interview during a spring training game against the Washington Nationals on Wednesday.

The 2022 AL MVP was teased about his struggles during a recently released clip on the New York Yankees' social media pages. He was asked to name his favorite TV show. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally settled on The Looney Tunes Show.

Judge said:

"I felt like I was on Jeopardy or something"

When asked who his favorite Looney Tunes character was, he replied:

"Bugs Bunny... Daffy Duck kind pissed me off every now and then"

As soon as the clip hit social media, Twitter users went wild with their reactions to Judge's unprovoked calling-out of Daffy Duck.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter:

Judge followed up his record-breaking 2022 season by negotiating a return to the Yankees after becoming a free agent. In addition to the nine-year, $360 million contract, Judge was entrusted with the responsibility of captaining the Pinstripers.

This makes him only the 16th player in Yankees history to captain the team, and the first since the retirement of MLB legend Derek Jeter in 2014. Yankees fans will be hoping Judge leads them to their first World Series in 14 years.
