Jackie Young is yet to make her debut in Unrivaled after missing Laces BC's first game of the inaugural season on Saturday against Phantom BC. Young was dealing with a left knee injury and was ruled out of the contest. Is the Laces guard playing tonight against Mist BC?
As of this writing, there are no concrete reports regarding Young's status ahead of Monday's showdown between the Laces and Mist. She's probably a game-time decision and will be evaluated today before tip-off at 9:30 p.m. EST. She'll either get downgraded to out or upgraded to available.
Young was warming up on center court on Saturday before the Laces dominated the Phantom 86-48. She was doing some drills and looked great despite being on the injury report. Her team didn't need her to start the campaign, but she'll give them a boost as the season continues.

One great sign regarding Jackie Young's health is her activity online. Young shared on her Instagram stories that she was in attendance for the Miami Heat game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday at the Kaseya Center. She was near courtside as the Heat easily defeated the Spurs 128-107.
Young is coming off another great season in the WNBA, averaging 15.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 37 games for the Las Vegas Aces. However, her numbers were down in the postseason as the Aces failed to make it three in a row.
The former No. 1 pick averaged 13.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists in six postseason games. It wasn't all dire for her since she won her second Olympic gold medal last summer. She was part of Team USA's winning team at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Her first gold medal in 2020 was in 3x3 basketball.
Laces BC prevail over Phantom BC despite Jackie Young's absence
Despite not having Jackie Young due to injury, Laces BC put on a show in their first-ever game for Unrivaled. The Laces dominated Phantom BC 86-48 to get their first win of the inaugural season.
Kayla McBride led the way for the Laces with 28 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals. Alyssa Thomas had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Tiffany Hayes and Stefanie Dolson each had 14 points.
Kate Martin, who is Young's former Las Vegas Aces teammate, added 12 points, nine rebounds and two steals. It was an amazing debut for the Laces, but they are going to have a tough time against Mist BC.
The Mist boast stars such as Breanna Stewart and Jewell Loyd. They did lose their opening game against Lunar Owls BC.
